Disposable Heat Shields are a key component of The Portisserie Portable Rotisserie Oven. By enclosing the unit with standard aluminum foil, or with a transparent, FDA food grade, high temperature, nylon sheet (as seen in this photo), we were able to design a device that is lighter, smaller, more efficient, and easier to clean,... but the real benefits were revealed when we started to test the new device.

We were immediately struck by the moistness of the birds that came out of The Portisserie. Time after time we were able to produce beautiful roasted chickens that were just plain better than they had a right to be.
